The Board of Deacons distribute bags of groceries twice a month to families in need in our area.
Our Deacon's put up a tree each Advent season to collect mittens, which are then distributed to the local elementary school for children in need of these items.
They have also collected socks when it was found this was a more urgent need.

Winter coats and other cold-weather clothing are collected by the congregation and distributed to those in need of these items during the twice-monthly food pantry.
The ladies that participate in this group select a different mission each month to support. They do this with donations of items or, sometimes, money.
